Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service set the working basis for projects delivered by SafeNet Creations, a business registered in Sri Lanka under registration number PV 00344724 ("we", "our", "us"). By engaging our services or using this website, you agree to the terms below.

2. Services

SafeNet Creations provides strategy, design, development, marketing, automation, and related digital services for businesses in Sri Lanka and, where appropriate, international clients.

3. Client Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and complete information required for project delivery
• Respond to requests for feedback and approvals in a timely manner
• Ensure all content provided to us does not infringe third-party rights
• Make payments according to the agreed schedule

4. Payments

• Project pricing is confirmed in writing before work begins
• A deposit, typically 50%, is required before the project starts
• Final payment is due before handover unless a milestone plan is agreed
• Online payments are processed through PayHere, a licensed payment gateway regulated by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, UnionPay, and local wallets (eZ Cash, mCash, FriMi, Genie). Direct bank transfer in LKR is also available on request.
• All amounts are billed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) unless otherwise stated. SafeNet Creations does not add any surcharge for card payments.
• Approved refunds are always issued to the same payment-initiated media used for the original payment (for example, refunds for card payments are credited back to the same card). Full details are in our Refund & Return Policy and Payment Methods page.

5. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, ownership of custom designs, code, and content created specifically for the client transfers to the client. We retain the right to showcase the work in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed. Third-party tools, templates, and stock assets remain under their respective licences.

6. Revisions

Each project includes the revision rounds outlined in the quotation. Additional revisions or scope changes outside the agreed brief may be quoted separately.

7. Hosting & Maintenance

Hosting, domain registration, and ongoing maintenance are separate from project costs unless explicitly included in the quotation. Monthly/annual maintenance plans are available.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SafeNet Creations shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid for the specific project.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate a project with 14 days written notice. In case of termination, the client pays for all work completed up to the termination date. Deposits are non-refundable after work has commenced.

10. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or sensitive information shared during the engagement. This obligation survives termination of the agreement.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if unresolved, through the courts of Jaffna, Sri Lanka.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms where our services, operating practices, or legal obligations change. Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
