The answer first

How much does a SafeNet website cost?

A focused launch website is LKR 59,900. Multi-page business, growth, commerce and custom-platform projects increase only when pages, content, products, workflows or integrations increase. Every package below shows its public limit and material exclusions.

Useful before a sales call

Start with the customer action—not the technology

Choose what visitors must be able to do. The planner maps that need to the smallest responsible scope and shows simple break-even arithmetic without promising results.

LKR 129,900

A custom-branded business website with up to six pages, a structured enquiry form, conversion-focused page hierarchy, analytics and search-ready foundations.

6 additional customers at that contribution profit would equal the Business Website build fee.

Illustration only—not a sales or ROI forecast. Traffic, offer quality, operations and follow-up still determine results.

5 public package paths. Final scope is confirmed in writing.

Five website project types with real boundaries

Why website quotes look so different

Software access, a delivered website and a custom system are different products

Compare responsibility and scope—not only the headline amount. A low software fee can be sensible for a team that will plan, build and maintain everything itself.

DIY or page-builder access

The fee mainly provides software or a template. The business still owns the page plan, content, brand decisions, setup, testing, tracking and launch work.

Fixed SafeNet website project

The published fee covers the stated planning, design, implementation, QA and handover scope. It stays fixed only while the page, content and workflow limits stay fixed.

Custom engineered platform

Live booking, logins, databases, admin workflows and bespoke integrations need discovery, acceptance cases and an engineering estimate rather than a brochure-site price.

Commercially useful—not magical

What a money-making website must support

The website is one part of a revenue system. It can reduce confusion and measure action; it cannot create market demand or replace sales follow-up by itself.

Make the offer easy to understand

Visitors should quickly see who the service is for, what problem it solves, why the business is credible and what to do next.

Create a search-ready structure

Technical SEO and sensible page structure help search engines understand the site. Rankings still depend on competition, authority, content and ongoing work.

Capture a useful next action

Forms, staff WhatsApp click-to-chat, quote requests and standard booking requests should collect enough context for a person to follow up well.

Measure the conversion path

Analytics and agreed events can show which pages and campaigns produce enquiries. They do not guarantee demand or sales.

Optional after launch

Website Care

From LKR 15,000 / month

Platform-appropriate monitoring, dependency or security review, backup or restore coordination and one scheduled routine content-update batch of up to 60 minutes each month. New pages, redesigns, features and incident recovery are separate work.

There is no compulsory monthly SafeNet retainer after launch. Hosting, platform and usage charges can still continue with their providers.

Always confirm separately

What the package price excludes

  • New copywriting, translation, photography, video and brand identity
  • Extra pages, products, languages, revision rounds or workflows beyond the package limits
  • Domain registration or renewal, hosting, cloud usage and email services
  • Paid themes, plugins, apps, licences, APIs and third-party subscriptions
  • Payment-gateway or provider subscriptions, transaction fees and merchant approval
  • Custom data migration, courier, ERP, PMS, CRM or other integrations unless named in the written scope
  • Ongoing SEO, advertising, content production and maintenance after the included defect-correction period
  • Taxes and currency-conversion differences where applicable

Delivery and payment

A controlled project, not an unlimited revision loop

Launch and Business: 60% to book the project and 40% before production launch.

Growth and Store: 50% at kickoff, 30% after approved design or staging review, and 20% before production launch.

Platform: Milestone payments are defined in the written proposal after discovery.

Change control: A revision round is one consolidated feedback list. New pages, products, languages, workflows, integrations or changed requirements are estimated as a written change request before work continues.

  1. 1

    Fit and scope

Confirm the business goal, audience, page list, content owner, languages, actions, platform and required integrations.

  2. 2

    Content and direction

Collect approved brand assets, copy, images, policies, products and access before the project clock begins.

  3. 3

    Design and build

Implement the agreed pages and workflows, then collect one consolidated feedback list for each included revision round.

  4. 4

    QA and acceptance

Check responsive layouts, forms, links, metadata, analytics, accessibility basics and the agreed acceptance cases.

  5. 5

    Launch and handover

Connect the client-owned production accounts, launch the approved scope and document the handover and care path.

What SafeNet needs from the client

  • Approved logo, brand assets, final text, images, legal policies and product data
  • Required domain, analytics, gateway, hosting and third-party account access
  • One decision-maker and consolidated feedback within the agreed review window
  • Permissions and lawful rights for every supplied asset, customer flow and integration

Next step

Request the scope before paying

The form records the chosen package, business goal, languages and project context. SafeNet can then confirm what is included, excluded and dependent on third-party approval.

Before kickoff, expect:

  • Page or workflow list
  • Content and access responsibilities
  • Milestones, payment and revision terms
  • Third-party and recurring costs

Package prices include one client-supplied language. Additional language content is scoped separately.

Questions clients should ask

Website pricing FAQ

Which website package should I choose?

Choose Launch Website for one focused offer, Business Website for a standard multi-page company site, Growth & SEO Website for a larger search and lead-generation structure, Online Store for a constrained commerce build, and Booking & Web Platform when the project needs live inventory, logins, a database or custom workflows.

Are these one-time website prices?

Yes. The five package prices are one-time build fees for the stated limits. An optional Website Care plan starts at From LKR 15,000 / month. Domains, hosting, paid tools and usage-based services are separate unless a written proposal includes them.

Does SEO setup guarantee Google rankings?

No. SEO setup means a search-friendly technical and page foundation: metadata, crawl controls, structured data where relevant, performance-conscious implementation and, in the Growth package, a keyword-to-page plan. Rankings depend on competition, content, authority, demand and ongoing work.

Is copywriting, photography or translation included?

The client supplies approved text, images, brand assets and legal policies. Light editing is included only where the package says so. New copywriting, photography, video and translation are estimated separately before work begins.

Can the lower website tiers include booking?

A request form, enquiry calendar or supported third-party scheduling widget can be scoped into a Business or Growth website. Real-time availability, payments, custom scheduling rules, channel-manager or PMS sync, user accounts and operational dashboards belong in Booking & Web Platform.

What is the difference between Online Store and a custom commerce platform?

Online Store is a constrained implementation on a supported commerce platform with the published product, category, payment and shipping limits. Bespoke checkout, marketplaces, subscriptions with unusual rules, ERP or multi-warehouse sync, paired apps and headless commerce are custom-platform work.

When does the delivery timeline start?

Planning starts after the booking payment, approved content, required access and design direction are ready. The listed ranges are planning guides, not guaranteed launch dates; the written proposal confirms milestones and dependencies.

What counts as a revision round?

One revision round is one consolidated feedback list against the approved scope. New pages, products, languages, workflows, integrations or changed requirements are priced through a written change request before the extra work begins.

Do I own the website?

Ownership, licences, platform accounts and handover items are documented in the proposal. Client-owned domains, analytics, payment and provider accounts are preferred. Third-party platforms, themes, plugins and services remain subject to their own licence terms.

Will a website automatically make money?

No website can guarantee revenue. A useful website makes the offer clear, builds trust, captures the right action and measures it. Results still depend on the offer, traffic, pricing, sales follow-up, operations and market demand.
