How does cart recovery actually work?
Customer adds items, leaves without checkout, but has opted in to WhatsApp updates. 1 hour later: WhatsApp message with the items + a "complete checkout" link. 24 hours later: gentler reminder if still not completed. Both messages are Meta-approved templates so they land outside the 24h customer-service window.
How does COD (cash on delivery) verification work?
After order placement, bot WhatsApps the customer "we're shipping your order — please confirm". 60% of fake / impulse orders get caught here before you waste shipping cost. Confirmed orders ship; unconfirmed sit for 24h then auto-cancel.
Can customers actually buy via WhatsApp without leaving the app?
