Can travellers find you when they ask an AI?

More people now start planning a trip by asking an assistant than you would guess, and those visits never show up in your analytics. We check whether your property is being recommended — and tell you who is being recommended instead.

Step 1 — see the scorecard

Which property should we check?

Enter the property and the area a traveller would actually search for. No email needed to see the result layout.

A channel that moved fast

Tracking of Sri Lankan hotel brands surfacing inside AI assistants rose sharply through mid-2026, and the set of properties being named keeps widening.

Invisible in your analytics

Assistant recommendations do not pass through Google Search, so none of this appears in the dashboards most properties actually look at.

Comparable month to month

We use the same fixed question set every time, so a re-run in eight weeks shows real movement rather than a different question producing a different answer.

How we measure it

Twelve traveller questions per assistant, each asked in a fresh chat so context from a previous question cannot skew the ranking. Scores weight position, so being named first counts for roughly three times being named eighth. Every property in an area is scored from the same answers, which is what makes the comparison fair.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our services in Sri Lanka.

We put a fixed set of traveller questions about your area to ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude, then record whether your property is named and where it appears in each answer. You receive a one-page scorecard showing visibility per assistant and which properties are being recommended instead.

Assistant answers do not pass through Google Search, so those visits never appear in Google Analytics. A property can lose this channel entirely without anything changing on its dashboard. Ranking well on Google and being invisible to AI assistants are entirely compatible.

No. Every check is run by hand in fresh chats and reviewed by a person before we send it, because assistant answers vary between runs and an automated score would overstate its own precision. Treat the result as a directional read rather than a precise measurement.

Nothing, and there is no obligation. You keep the scorecard whether or not you ever work with SafeNet. If it is useful, we are happy to spend 90 minutes going through what sits behind it.

Usually yes, though how much depends on your existing content, structured data and third-party presence. That work sits inside our Direct Booking Engine package, and we re-run the same question set monthly so movement is measurable rather than asserted.

Hotels, villas, guest houses, homestays and tour operators anywhere in Sri Lanka — Ella, Mirissa, Galle, Sigiriya, Kandy, Arugam Bay, Jaffna, Trincomalee and elsewhere. One sweep covers an entire area, so nearby properties are scored on exactly the same answers.
