Collecting sea cucumbers means hours of diving or wading, picking each animal by hand. This concept works the pen floor: a camera finds each sea cucumber, a soft gripper lifts it, and a basket keeps the harvest in water until it is raised.

Harvesting a pen is slow, tiring work in the water, and it gets harder in murky water and at depth.
Live sea cucumbers are soft and stress easily. Rough handling lowers quality and price.
We develop each system from problems we see on our own sea cucumber farm in Jaffna.

Lower
The crawler is lowered into the pen on its tether and drives across the floor.
- Step 02
Find
The front camera and lights spot sea cucumbers on the sand and show them to the operator.
- Step 03
Pick
The arm reaches down and the soft silicone gripper closes gently around the animal.
- Step 04
Collect
Each one goes into the basket on the back, which is lifted out when full.
